Last year the volunteers worked hard and were well prepared for another Great Day of family fun, But, the weather man had other plans. Following a fabulous parade and great pie auction, the rain came hard and fast. Thanks to our loyal sponsors and previous sale of shirts and of course our friends and partners, the vendors were able to make a small profit. Thanks to all our well wishers.

The founders of this great organization can be proud of what they and those who have followed are accomplishing. The committee and board joined with the Moody Chamber, have acquired a shell of a building which is being refurbished for a community center.

The hard work and fun for the 2012 event is well on its way to making this festival bigger and better with the addition of the Texas “Big Cat” Catfish Tournament and a tasty catfish dinner.

Come to Moody the fourth Saturday in September for great deals, fun, food and music. Be sure to invite all your friends and family.
